10 Digital technology
Subject Description

The technology learning area has three strands: Technological Practice, Technological Knowledge, and Nature of Technology. These three strands are embedded within each of five technological areas:
- computational thinking for digital technologies
- designing and developing digital outcomes
- designing and developing materials outcomes
- designing and developing processed outcomes
- design and visual communication
The Year 10 course is a fun- interactive course that introduces ideas of the five key areas. Students will have hands on opportunities to build robots to develop their design and computational thinking.
Pre-requisites: None although having done Year 9 Robotics will be an advantage
Materials Fee: Optional take home project outcome
