Subject Description

This course supports you to develop your reading and writing skills and on helping you gain University Entrance.
You will:
- work toward acquiring U.E. literacy supported by scaffolded tasks broken down to make the learning achievable,
- read novels, short stories, poems, view films or listen to songs and respond to them by making your personal opinions known and,
- express yourself in a range of writing styles.
Students are selected to take this course and approved by HoD.
ONLY choose this course if you have been advised to do so by your English teacher or the HoD.
This course offers 14 credits (with the ability to earn more if required). All assessments are worth U.E. reading and/or writing credit

Stationery requirements: 2 x 1B5, 1 x A4 refill, 1 x A4 folder or Clearfile.
