Subject Description

L2 Food and Hospitality is the gateway into learning the skills for Cafe work. Students will cook twice a week alongside 'front of house' lessons where they will learn and practice table service.  Students will also learn Espresso coffee making skills and obtaining a Food Hygiene certificate. 

This course will develop students to be well rounded in hospitality skills and help them gain employment in the industry.  It contains a high level of relevant, contextualized learning using after school events and an industry based certificate. 

Pre-requisite: 12 credits in L1FAH or HOD approval

It can also be a great way to build self-confidence in your own skills and your ability to talk and interact with others. This course is designed to help you grow and progress and to help gain the skills and confidence necessary to find part or full time
