Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: David Eastwood.
Make a take home project and complete assignment work related to your practical work. Take pride in achieving high personal standards; develop knowledge of Trades and the opportunities available beyond school. Develop skills in using other materials in combination with timber in a Level 3 project.
Pre-requisites: Pass US24354 safe work practices, or with HOD approval

Term 1
Develop skills on project documentation towards analysis of project.
Complete site safety visit.
Develop skills in making formers.
Develop skills in concrete process.
Term 2
Design concrete furniture.
Populate project documentation.
Develop knowledge of tools, equipment and machinery.
Term 3
Create formers.
Pour concrete.
Measure, mark out and cut wooden pieces.
Finish documentation.
Develop knowledge of materials used.
Term 4
Complete garden furniture.
Complete any outstanding documentation.
