Economics is a course that allows you to focus on current economic issues while learning about concepts like inflation, unemployment and equality. Discover how New Zealand interacts with other countries and how this affects the economy and use economic calculations and theoretical models and apply them to the concepts mentioned above. You will begin to understand the New Zealand economy and your place as an active citizen within it. Hear from people who work in business and understand how they impact and are impacted by the economy.
Pre-requisites: 10 credits in L1BUS or 10 credits in a Social Sciences course, or with LOLA approval.
