Subject Description

This course is for students who are very keen to develop their skills and knowledge in the kitchen . The program runs a "double line" meaning that students take it as two subjects, it has six hours of cooking and two hours of theory. It has a strong focus on the skills needed to gain employment including a food safety paper, coffee making and knife skills. 

This course has a strong focus on real life experiences with two after school events making up the assessment, the students must plan and carry out these events in a professional manner to show their mastery of the skills they have developed.
