L3FAH

L3 Food & Hospitality (L3FAH)

Subject Description

This course follows on from the L2FAH programme. The students still undertake a two theory two practical week but the course focuses on  refining skills, and planning and executing events from a front of house perspective. Full-table service and canapé service are areas of focus.

The students will be part of at least two work placements that will take place after school, these events are used as the final assessment opportunities for the table service paper and allow the students to test themselves in a real life environment. We do these events with our hospitality partners and they often lead to further opportunities for our students.

Pathway

This course leads to work in the hospitality industry in both a part and full time capacity.
