L2 Biology (L2BIO)

Level 2 Biology includes: a comparative study of the circulatory systems of different animals; an in-depth look at the cells that make up plants and animals and the processes these cells carry out; an understanding of genetics by learning about molecular DNA, how genes are expressed and ways in which traits are inherited from one generation to the next; and ecological investigations of organisms and the environments in which they live.

Pre-requisites: 4 credits in L1 Science and 5 literacy credits, or with HOD approval
