This is a challenging course of academic study which introduces high level critical thinking. Students will extend their analytical skills through the:

  • Study of written and visual texts, demonstrating an appreciation of crafting and purpose, 
  • Craft and edit a range of original written texts that use deliberate language, structure and vocabulary for purpose and audience, 
  • Research and self-select critical sources to support an original hypothesis on a studied text. 

This course offers you an exciting chance to think, create and craft in new and diverse ways. Choose this course if you are a passionate English student.

This course offers 21 credits (8 externally, 11 internally). All assessments are worth reading and writing credits for University Entrance.
