Subject Description

This course covers in depth analysis related to health issues in New Zealand and internationally, traditional, contemporary and western medical health practices used in New Zealand, providing a balanced evaluation of an ethical issue and developing knowledge of Health promotion models.  This course can lead to various Health related occupations such as nursing, social work, counselling, vocations that seek to address the person holistically.

 Pre-requisites: 8 credits in Level 2 English or Level 2 Health, or with HOD approval
