L3 Chinese (L3CHI)

Subject Description

This course builds on skills and language learning in Level 2 Chinese and prepares students for achieving NCEA Level 3 Chinese. On completion of this course, students will be able to communicate a wide range of thoughts, experiences and ideas in Chinese on unfamiliar topics. Students will learn how to express their opinions, give personal judgements and reflect on real issues in Chinese. There is an opportunity for students to participate in trips, outside competitions, and school cultural activities over the course of the year.

 Pre-requisites: Previous study at L2CHI, or with HOD approval
