L3 Mathematics with Statistics (L3MAS)

This course provides the necessary background for students wishing to enter any field of study where collection, analysis or interpretation of data is important (e.g. geography, environmental sciences, biology, economics, business). Students will need very good statistical and literacy skills to achieve success. This course is both internally and externally assessed and focuses on developing the higher level statistical and probability skills and concepts.

 Pre-requisites:  Achieved or above in AS91264 and AS91267, or with HOD approval, or with 12+ credits in Level 2 Mathematics
