Previous study at junior level, or with HOD approval.

This course builds on skills and language learning in Year 10 and prepares students for achieving NCEA L1 Chinese. On completion of this course students will be able to communicate their thoughts, experiences and ideas in Chinese on areas such as their school life, the place that they live, festivals and their own cultures. There is an opportunity for students to participate in trips, outside competitions, and school cultural activities over the course of the year.
