Students should ideally have some interest in drama, acting and performance.
Course outline: Students will collaborate in groups, building essential interpersonal and communication skills. They will refine their acting techniques and take on roles in a scripted performance. Students will also apply their understanding of drama elements and conventions to devise an original piece of theatre. As part of the course, they will have the opportunity to attend a live theatre performance to enhance their learning and explore the role and significance of theatre within Aotearoa.
L1 Drama belongs to a university entrance pathway as L3 Drama is a UE approved subject.
