L3 Dance
L3DAN Subject Description Recommended Prior LearningStudents must have a passion for dance and confidence in performing. Ideally, they have learned the fundamentals of dance during L1DAN and L2DAN.
Level 3 Dance students will refine their choreography skills, exploring a unique concept that they want to communicate through an original piece of choreography. Students will expand upon their current movement vocabulary and refine practical skills through performing a variety of dances, in a variety of contexts. Students will learn to analyse professional dance works to explore how meaning is communicated in dance and how dance impacts them and others.
L3 Dance is a UE approved subject.
Pre-requisites: 4 credits in level 2 Dance, or with LOLA approval
