L2 Health (L2HEA)

This course develops skills and knowledge introduced in Level 1 Health. The course covers hauora, enhancing an aspect of people’s well being within the school or wider community, evaluating factors that influence people’s ability to manage change and developing strategies that address issues of sexuality and gender.  This course can lead to various Health related occupations such as nursing, social work, counselling, vocations that seek to address the person holistically.

Pre-requisites: 7 credits in Level 1 English or Level 1Health, or with HOD approval
